2025 Blues Night on April 12th: An Extravaganza of Rhythm and Impactful Progress.

Join us for the 2025 Genesis City Blues Night, our beloved annual fundraising event, taking place at the Rhythm Room on April 12th. This year’s celebration features soulful performances from an incredible blues band, The Sugar Thieves, and thrilling raffles.

Most importantly, be moved by the inspiring performance from our Genesis City Blues Night Dancers and hear powerful stories of transformation from our teens and alumni. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Genesis Academy graduates are filling critical roles at SurgiSTUD. As young adults in the world of work, they are revolutionizing surgical training while having the opportunity to grow professionally, personally, and financially.

Our Genesis Academy Science Team recently won first place at the science fair!

The Genesis Academy Science Team (Keniya Moreno (not pictured), Damien Payne, Science Teacher Danny Hobaica, Vanessa Rodriguez, and Christopher Monahan) won 1st place in the KIDSS (Kids Innovating Dynamic Sustainable Solutions) Innovation and Science Competition. The team investigated the proficiency of wind turbine blades that generate energy via wind power. Their innovation revealed which type of turbine blades are more efficient to produce more energy.

Genesis City Honored with the Arizona InterFaith Movement’s Golden Rule Education Award

Arizona InterFaith Movement warmly and enthusiastically invited families, friends and the community to its 10th Annual Golden Rule Awards Banquet. The Golden Rule celebration honored five individuals or organizations Arizona InterFaith Movement believes are exemplifying the Golden Rule, a universal principle contained in most faith traditions and many secular codes of ethics. Genesis City and Karen Callahan were honored with the 2015 Golden Rule Education Award. The event was held at the Mesa Convention Center on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
