School Tax Credit

The state of Arizona offers all residents the exciting opportunity to support Genesis Academy through the Arizona Public School Tax Credit Program. By redirecting your tax dollars to Genesis Academy, you can support critically needed extracurricular activities for our students.

The Many Challenges Our Students Face:

90% live below the poverty level
68% have parents who did not graduate from high school
15% are teen parents
24% work an average 32 hours per week to supplement their family income
30% have been part of the juvenile justice system

Here’s How it Works

1. MAKE THE CONTRIBUTION

Contribute up to $400 (married couples) or $200 (single) to Genesis Academy. If desired, you may participate in this tax credit as well as the private school tuition and/or the charitable tax credit programs.

2. TAKE THE CREDIT

Receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit from your Arizona State Income Tax to the extent that your tax liability is reduced to zero. Any unused amount may be carried over for up to five years. (Tax circumstances vary greatly. Please consult your tax advisor or specific questions related to your tax situation.)

3. MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Genesis Academy serves students at the highest risk of dropping out of the educational system. Our students are in great need of the extracurricular programs your donation will provide. Programs include arts, sports, dance team, and character education.
